The state of your health is a barometer for how well balanced your overall life currently is. An imbalance in physical health leads to feelings of being constantly tired, run down and lethargic that can eventually lead to depression and feeling even more tired.

An unfit body impacts on how well we are able to deal with the stresses and changes that occur in everyday life. Our bodies have been designed for movement (action) and not for sitting (inaction). Research shows that you think sharper for four to ten hours after exercise. Have you ever noticed how much better you feel if you take a walk to "clear your Head"? Exercise is a mood elevator. As you start to burn some fat and tighten some muscle, your energy levels improve. Exercise increases the level of positive, "feel-good" hormones, known as endorphins. Feeling good improves perceptions and personality, which in turn allows you to make better and more positive choices.

As nothing is ever done in isolation good nutritional and dietary habits must be combined with exercise to achieve the peak health and fitness levels of endurance, strength, balance and flexibility that are attainable.
