Artificial trees somehow don't always take the place of a real Christmas tree and if you are like me Christmas is just not the same without the smell of fresh pine filling the air as it gently wafts throughout the house. A quick and easy way get the smell of fresh pine in your home is to spray a mist of Pine Essential oil onto your tree. Your tree will impart a nice pine fragrance when heated by the warmth of the room and the tree lights to make your home more welcoming and homely for family and guests. Potpourri Ornaments A simple way to make potpourri ornaments is to glue your favourite Potpourri to the outside of ball ornaments. Hang ornaments with gold cording to make beautiful and fragrant ornaments for your tree and around the home. For something a little different try hanging clear glass ball ornaments filled with Pine scented potpourri or a Christmas potpourri blend of choice. Potpourri Christmas Tree Ornaments Materials Required:
Instructions: 1. Remove the metal top and hook from the ornaments. 2. Fill each ball about one third full with potpourri. Note: Add more Pine Essential oil to the mixture if you feel the scent of your store bought potpourri is not strong enough. 3. Attach hook back to top with a drop of glue - using glue gun or quick set glue. 4. Thread a piece of thin floral wire through each piece of lace gathering the lace into a small circle as you thread it enough to cover the top of the ornament. 5. Attach lace with a drop of glue to the top of the glass ornaments. 6. Make a small ribbon bow and ribbon hanger and attach to the top of each ornament with glue. 7. Glue a small artificial or dried flower to cover the centre where the bow and hanger join. 8. Your potpourri balls are now ready to hang on the tree.
